Happy 4th of July!  I wanted to share with you a beautiful video that Sister Rebecca Adam's of Illinois created using her arrangement of America the beautiful. Happy Mothers Day

I have fallen in love with a particular artists work.  The artist was Harrison Fisher and I love his worked because he has such a talent for capturing beauty. Last week, as my husband and I were enjoying our hobby of collecting old books, I came upon a first edition book of the artwork of Harrison Fisher.  I bought it and it is mine and I am sooooo excited to own it.  Yes it is the most expensive in my collection, but has to be the one I love the most.  I wanted to find a wonderful image that captured the essence of Motherhood, to share with you for Mothers day, and my favorite artist did in his beautiful work. This first image embraces motherhood, and the adoration and love of a Mother for her wee infant child. It is called "Birth Announcement". Someone cropped out the dad, so I am adding the next one too.

This last one is called "King of Hearts".  Artist is Harrison Fisher, and the images were found at a wordpress blog called "I AM A CHILD".

Easter Peeps

Don't you just love those sugar coated, chewey, marshmallow Easter Peeps?  I love them enough I am sharing them with the sisters I visit teach.  So.... I have designed some cute Recipe cards for "Roasted Peeps," and also matching bookmarks or tags. 

If you have forgotten or just don't know how to print these freebies off for yourself, right click on the image and save to your computer.  Then print from the file on your computer.  It is as easy as that.  One thing I ask is that you just say "THANKS" by commenting.  It is always nice to know how far my efforts reach and that it has helped others. St. Patricks Day (Green Cookie Recipe)

Years ago, when I lived in Nevada, a good friend of mine gave me a recipe for "Forgotten Cookies".  I have long since "Forgotten" about them until this year, when I started on a diet, and wanted something  yummy as a treat, that was mostly on my diet, and very low sugar and calories.  Well, I put together my own version of this recipe, and thought you might like them, because they are green and great and easy cookies for St. Patricks Day treats.  They are crunchy and soooo good!  Only a few ingredients too and fat free (unless you count the Ande's mint pieces that are in them) OOOHH!
Enjoy and have a fun St. Patricks Day and remember to wear green so you don't get pinched!
