Back to the past party fun!

I wanted to thank all of you who emailed or commented about your ideas for a 1970's party food and recipes. I decided to leave the invitation up for any of you who might like to use it for a back in time Relief Society party or enrichment, like my ward is having this month. I made this to be color copied on glossy 2 sided flyer paper, one with a fill in the blanks and one completely blank to word as you like. (The blank one I drew up a map to my house and put it on it for those who don't know where we live.) They turned out pretty cute. If you want to have a copy of the first one that has the invitation info on it, but blank, please email me at ktgauger@gmail.com and I will send it to you. Enjoy the 70's fun!

February Visiting Teaching Handout in English & Spanish

Here you are Sisters.... for February 2009, I have some fun Valentiney bookmarks for you to take with you Visiting teaching. My idea with providing so many quotes is that you can either pick one of these and give that message to your sisters or you could put them together as sort of a book mark flip book with holes punched in the corners, and a ribbon threaded and tied. This will be very cute! I always recommend that you laminate bookmarks because they get a lot of use, and if they were to get wet, they will smear.

This is my first attempt in making Spanish handouts, and I hope that my translation is accurate. I don't speak Spanish but I do understand a bit. Lucky for me LDS.org has a site in Spanish and it is found at http://www.lds.org.ar/ Pass the word along that you can now get some things on my site in Spanish. I will do my best to include something each month. Enjoy!

Visiting Teaching Handouts in English for February 2009.

You know what they say about old friends and antiques? They grow more valuable with time.

Glad that you dropped by my blog!

This blog and it's contents go hand in hand with my Visiting Teaching Tips and handouts blog found at http://visitingteachingtips.blogspot.com/ If you by accident get to this blog first, make sure to go back to the other one and see all that there is for you there. This is sort of my overflow or stroage blog because I can't keep everything there, so I add my creations to this storage unit and that is my Visiting Teaching Surprise for you. Sometimes however, I do put in things that I think you would enjoy even if they aren't specifically related to Visiting Teaching, but my vision in life is that if I take all the time to make things, I may as well share them and get more use out of them. Sorta like hand me downs but brand new "Down loads". I hope you enjoy these freebies. Drop me a note to say hello in the comments under the downloads posts.
